Must be something there lies sleeping
Beyond what’s known to be true
A core of wisdom in rising sand
A fog on blizzard dune
Mild and wild the spirit grows
Through forests of pine
The light so scarcely flows
Down to where roots entwine
From all seasons we rise, from oceans emerge
Out of stories of hearts we occur
Floating fires in our dreams
Guarding deep currents and streams
Feed me thoroughly, feed me fair
Fluids carry more than air
As the spark of love within it flows
The tree of life within us grows
Keep those fires burning
Keep those wheels a-turning
As the twig is bent, the tree will grow
All germs hybernate below
From all seasons we rise, from oceans emerge
Out of stories of hearts we occur
Floating fires in our dreams
Guarding deep currents and streams
