THE FREE MIND

I need my mind to be free

Free to whatever wants to be

For that which needs to be shown

A wisdom for all of us to own

I need my body to be clear

Of all restrictions

So that my soul can clearly hear

Universal predictions

I am not a clearvoyant

I am of minor importance

But that what is perpetual

Needs to be out in the world

I try to live as pure

As true to that what nature gave

Although I feel so insecure

What does is mean to be safe

Safety is but an illusion

But there’s insurance companies

Trying to kill love’s profusion

By making you pay for fear

So don’t don’t give in

Don’t give in to this calling

And do do let go

Teach yourself that free falling

Is the true nature of our race

No one knows where we’re heading

And by slowing down your pace

You might remember that what you were forgetting

That no one really knows

How this ought to evolve

That all living things grow

Until they cannot but solve

Into that what’s always been

And will always be

This cycle slowly turning in

Dear sweet life’s mystery
