THE CREATURE

This creature lives in the dark

Connects to pain only

Bears the permanent mark

Making him to solely

Come out but at night

When scars look brighter

The struggle to live the fight

Makes him feel lighter

Duality don’t bother him much

To love to hate to build to break

His mother gave him such

She taught him how to ache

“Your reason for living this is

This horror of mine

Please do try to soften it

Make malign turn benign”

He’ll drink it just to free

The other of the drain

He’ll drink it and then he’ll feel

It’s too much for him to sustain

A ball of fury in his guts

Will grow to such extent

Driving him into destructive lust

To make this nightmare end

Then one day in front of him

A creature coming from the woods

Torn skirt and eyes that gleam

Showing him her goods

Not breasts nor thighs nor fleshy wounds

No hustler in disguise

A sandy beach to maroon

To unlock those sickening ties

She offers him the uncut version

Of that which streams within

This tao-flow accepting all

Now is the time to begin

Now the time to bring light

To that which hides in the dark

Freeing the creature of

His permanent mark
