MARIA’S STORY

What is it that makes me crave your attention

Now that I have lost my man and children

Me too I feel like a child again

Looking for pleasure and joy

You call me and you tell me you are sick

I feel the flow in your voice

The man you are provokes the woman

Provokes the woman I am

The core of things moves away from

Attachment a challenge

This lifetime to enjoy the pleasures

Of being the animal mammal I am

Oh come and join me on the inside

Let’s have a look and see what the beehive

Hides for the rest of this lonesome day

I can make the pain go away

At least some of it, some part of it

For a while will fade into the shade

To return when you are alone

But new and different, you will see

All is changing, all is moving

Continuously start believing

This is the only truth you’ll ever find

The only thing to depend upon, which means there’s none
